Owner Check List Print E-mail

Good preparation on your part will help to make transportation of your property safe and worry free. Here are some pointers.

  • Weight An RV trailer is designed to handle its gross weight. If the gvw is 11,000 lbs . . . that means the weight of the trailer and all contents together.
  • Wheels/Axel Make sure all bearings are greased properly. A seized bearing can cause a wheel to fall off resulting in severe damage.
  • Hitch Make sure your hitch is in good condition, repair or replace as necessary.
  • Tighten down the hatches and make sure all items inside are secure.
  • Lights Make sure there are no burned out bulbs and the harness is working properly.

Before each trip we check key elements for safety.

  • Tires are in acceptable condition and inflated to proper pressure 
  • Lights  are working
  • Vents and doors are secure & closed
  • Hitch, we check to see if there is any visual indication of problems.

We will photograph your property before and after each trip for your protection as well as our own.
